The YFS Journalism & Media Team is a unique training programme, that provides opportunities for aspiring sports media professionals. The programme offers media enthusiasts of all ages and abilities the chance to build their portfolio whilst providing coverage the makes a genuine difference to sport at grassroots level. It's win-win.

What types of media do you offer?

The short answer, is almost any! YFS is a platform for anybody with a positive idea to have their work showcased. However, our most popular roles are:

I'm not in Scotland right now, can I participate?

YFS offers placements and internships for students from around the world at our HQ in Edinburgh. We have welcomed aspiring media professionals from China, France, Germany, Japan, Romania, Spain and USA so far.
